Landscape Architect
Job Description
We're seeking a highly skilled Landscape Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will perform landscape architectural design review functions, including construction of landscape and irrigation, planting, gardening, and conceptual design work. Candidate will review documents at various phases for design intent, materials usage, and compliance with specifications on site. The role also involves prioritizing projects, maintaining accurate progress records, and preparing project estimates in collaboration with the operations team. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Revit, Lumion, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office is required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture (preferred) Architecture (with landscape design experience) Environmental Design or Urban Design. Design of landscape layouts, both conceptual and detailed. Selection of plant species based on climate, soil, aesthetics, and maintenance. Integrating hardscape elements (paving, lighting, furniture) with softscape design. Creating mood boards, 3D visuals, and presentation drawings. Working closely with clients, site engineers, and QS teams. Conducting site analysis, feasibility studies, and design adaptations. Preparing tender documents, BOQs, and specification sheets. Supervising site implementation to ensure design intent is preserved. Creativity with strong design sense. Good communication and presentation skills. Team coordination and project management. Strong attention to detail. Ability to balance aesthetic vision with practical implementation.
