Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing all field operations
Apply pest and disease control programmes in horticultural situations.
Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting.
Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures.
Hire and train workers. Co-ordinate work orders with ground crew.
Deploy workforce and supervise landscape maintenance works.
Ensure timely completion of work schedules.
Ensure workplace health and safety regulations are implemented and complied with.
Handle client enquiries.
Monitor plant health, soil, water and other environmental conditions.
Optimise growing conditions using appropriate nutrient fertilisers and soil mix.
Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations.
Supervise maintenance of infrastructure, equipment, and supplies.
Develop work schedules and establish procedures.
Ensure farm safety, food safety and security and bio-security procedures are followed.
Maintain quality control and production records.
May perform general farm duties.
