Position Overview
The Land Surveyor role at Parsons Corporation in Dubai supports infrastructure and utilities projects through precise field surveying, supervision, and documentation. Key Responsibilities

• Review construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents related to surveying works
• Supervise all site works related to land and survey activities
• Perform land and field surveys, including geodetic calculations, for infrastructure and utilities projects
• Coordinate with clients and contractors to confirm and verify survey requirements
• Complete surveying tasks in line with approved schedules, man-hour targets, and cost budgets
• Check setting-out, levels, and alignment to ensure construction accuracy
• Identify existing services locations and ensure their protection during site works
• Prepare field sketches and supporting documentation for survey operations
• Maintain accurate survey records including field books, calculations, and sketches
• Measure completed works when required for verification and reporting
• Assist in the preparation and verification of as-built drawings
• Observe and enforce site safety procedures at all times
• Actively participate in health and safety initiatives as directed by the Resident Engineer and Safety Representative
• Perform additional duties related to surveying and site coordination as required

Ideal Profile

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Land Surveying or equivalent qualification
• Minimum eight years of experience in infrastructure and utilities projects, including at least four years with a consultancy firm
• Strong experience using CAD software, survey software, total stations, data collectors, and GPS equipment
• Good written and spoken English communication skills
• Ability to attend in-person interviews when required
• Strong understanding of construction sequences and standard industry work procedures
• Ability to communicate clearly and logically with management, staff, and site teams
