Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct field surveys to determine accurate measurements of land features, boundaries, and elevations for roads, utilities, landscaping, and infrastructure projects.
  • Research and analyze historical survey data, maps, deeds, and other records to establish control points and benchmarks.
  • Plan and execute fieldwork using total stations, GPS, and other electronic surveying instruments.
  • Prepare and check field notes, sketches, and survey reports with precision and clarity.
  • Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
  • Draft and review survey maps, topographic layouts, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD or equivalent software.
  • Support project engineers and architects by providing accurate survey data for design and construction activities.
  • Coordinate with contractors and design teams to resolve site-related survey discrepancies.
  • Maintain and update survey databases, documentation, and records according to project requirements.
  • Ensure all work adheres to Parsons' safety standards, quality control procedures, and local regulatory guidelines.
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Survey Engineering.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in land surveying, setting out, and topographic mapping for infrastructure, landscaping, or roads projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of surveying methodologies, GPS systems, and digital data processing tools.
  • Proficiency in CAD-based drafting and mapping (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar).
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction surveying, alignment, and level control.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead survey crews on-site.
  • Prior UAE experience on major infrastructure or landscaping projects preferred.
