Job Description

We are hiring a

Land Surveyor

, look for a mix of

technical expertise, regulatory knowledge, and professional reliability

. Candidates must possess 5 years minimum experience, Below are the key qualities to evaluate--especially relevant for projects in regions like the UAE:

1. Technical Competence

Strong knowledge of

surveying principles

(topographic, boundary, as-built, setting-out, Gate levels and plot demarcation). Proficiency in

survey equipment

: Total Station, GPS/GNSS, Auto Levels, Scanners, Drones (if applicable).Ability to prepare

accurate survey drawings and reports

.

2. Software & Technology Skills

Proficient in

AutoCAD / Civil 3D

. Familiar with

GIS software

and data processing tools. Ability to handle

digital terrain models (DTM), contours, and coordinate systems

.

3. Regulatory & Local Authority Knowledge

Experience with

local authority requirements

(e.g., DDA, Trakhees, Dubai Municipality) Understanding of

survey standards, tolerances, and submission formats

. Ability to coordinate approvals smoothly with authorities.

4. Accuracy & Attention to Detail

High level of precision--small errors can lead to major legal or construction issues. Strong checking and verification practices. Consistency in field data vs. final drawings.

5. 5 Years Relevant Experience

Proven experience in: Topographic land surveys Construction setting-out As-built surveys Boundary and title deed-related surveys Experience in

similar project types

(residential, commercial, infrastructure).

6. Communication & Coordinatio

n

Clear communication with

engineers, architects, contractors, and clients

. Ability to explain survey findings and discrepancies. Timely reporting of site issues and constraints.

7. Problem-Solving Ability

Capability to resolve

site discrepancies

, missing benchmarks, or drawing conflicts. Practical approach to working in constrained or active construction sites.

8. Professional Certification & Licensing

Relevant

degree

in surveying or geomatics. Local accreditation or approval (where applicable). Valid

Driving license

Minimum experience of 5 years in Dubai in same field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED6,000.00 per month
