Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Land Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with legal regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of surveying principles, proficiency in various surveying technologies, and the ability to work collaboratively on construction projects.

Perform field surveys

: Conduct precise land and field surveys, geodetic calculations, and structural inspections using equipment such as total stations, levels, and GPS.

Data analysis and reporting

: Analyze collected data, prepare detailed reports, and create accurate maps and plans using specialized software like AutoCAD and GIS.

Ensure compliance

: Ensure all surveying activities comply with local UAE land laws, regulations, and specific project requirements, such as RTA standards.

Quality control

: Perform quality checks and verify the accuracy of survey data and calculations.

Collaboration

: Work with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to provide essential survey information and resolve discrepancies.

Equipment maintenance

: Maintain and calibrate all surveying equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Project support

: Assist in setting out points, checking levels, and verifying service locations on construction sites.
Required skills and qualifications

Education

: A bachelor's or diploma in surveying, geomatics, or a related field is typically required.

Experience

: Experience in the UAE, particularly on infrastructure, roads, or bridge projects, is highly beneficial.

Technical skills

: Advanced proficiency with surveying equipment (GPS, total station) and software (AutoCAD, GIS, MicroStation).

Analytical skills

: Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

Communication skills

: Good oral and written communication skills in English.

Knowledge

: In-depth knowledge of local UAE land laws and international surveying standards.
