We are now seeking an exceptional Land Surveyor to join our team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Diploma/Associate Degree in Land Surveying or equivalent. Minimum 03-04 years of experience. Good Knowledge and experience in using survey Instruments such as total station, Level machine, theodolite. Proficient knowledge of software such as Microsoft Office, AutoCAD is mandatory.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Perform land/field surveys and geodetic calculations. Knowledge of relevant survey procedures, construction techniques, codes and standards. Interface with client and contractors to determine and verify project survey requirements. Fully conversant with current survey technology and survey equipment. Demonstrated experience and capability to co-ordinate with related infrastructure disciplines to ensure effective interface of all aspects of the works. Sufficient safety awareness to identify and assess potential hazards and unsafe working practices and initiative to take the necessary preventative actions in accordance with a particular situation. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written communication. Complete the surveying requirements on schedule and within man-hour. Check setting-out and levels. Check services locations and ensure their protection. Prepare sketches to support the field work. Maintain all the survey information (field books, sketches and calculations). Assist concerned Engineer in verification and checking of shop drawings Verification & routine checks of control points and benchmarks Verification of setting out of works Recording of initial and final levels of works Verification of earthwork cross sections Take measurement of works inspected. Assist in the preparation of 'as-built' drawings. Review of 'as-built' record drawings. Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
