Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct Surveys:
Measure land areas using advanced equipment like GPS systems, total stations, and lasers. Determine land boundaries for legal, construction, and real estate purposes. Conduct topographic, construction, and boundary surveys to create accurate maps.
2.
Collect Data:
Gather data regarding elevations, distances, angles, and physical features of land. Document findings accurately and ensure proper record-keeping of survey results.
3.
Prepare Reports:
Analyze survey data to prepare maps, reports, and legal descriptions of land features. Prepare and interpret land titles, deed descriptions, and legal documents related to property boundaries.
4.
Operate Surveying Equipment:
Use traditional tools (e.g., compasses, theodolites) and modern equipment like GPS, drones, and laser scanners. Ensure equipment calibration and proper maintenance.
Qualifications:
1.
Education:
Typically a bachelor's degree in land surveying, civil engineering, or a related field.2.
Experience:
