Job Description
We are looking for a land surveyor for measuring and mapping land features, establishing property boundaries, and creating reports and maps for various purposes. Know the use of specialized equipment, analyze data, and ensure accuracy in their work, often collaborating with engineers, architects, and other professionals. Key Responsibilities:
Land Measurement and Mapping:
Conducting surveys to determine land features, boundaries, and topography using tools like GPS, total stations, and other surveying equipment.Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyzing survey data, creating maps and reports, and providing legal descriptions of property boundaries.Research and Verification:
Researching historical records, legal documents, and previous surveys to verify land boundaries and ownership information.Collaboration and Communication:
Working with clients, engineers, architects, and other professionals to provide survey data and support construction and development projects.Equipment Maintenance:
Ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of surveying equipment.Supervision and Guidance:
May supervise field staff or junior surveyors, providing guidance and support.Adherence to Legal and Regulatory Standards:
Ensuring all surveys comply with relevant laws and regulations.Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Proficiency:
Strong understanding of surveying principles, equipment, and software (e.g., CAD, GIS, GPS).Mathematical and Analytical Skills:
Excellent mathematical and problem-solving skills for data analysis and calculations.Attention to Detail:
Accuracy and precision are crucial in land surveying.Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
Effective communication with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.Physical Fitness and Stamina:
May require working outdoors in various conditions and carrying equipment.Education and Licensing:
A bachelor's degree in surveying or a related field, and often a state-issued surveyor's license.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
License/Certification:
