Experience Required:

3-7 years in site surveying within the UAE or GCC

Qualifications & Experience:

Experience:

Strong field experience in land surveying, preferably in the tensile structure, construction, or infrastructure sectors.

Education:

Diploma or Degree in

Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Geomatics

Driving License:

Valid UAE driving license is required.

Certifications:

Experienced in Total Station, GPS/GNSS, and AutoCAD is preferred.

Attestation:

Education certificate should be attested by MOFA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs).

Core Skills Required:

Proficiency in using Total Station, GPS, Leveling Instruments, and related software. Ability to read and interpret drawings and perform accurate site measurements. Experience in setting out anchor bolts, foundations, steel/aluminum structure alignments. Knowledge of land topography, grading, and leveling. Capable of preparing survey reports, as-built drawings, and elevation certificates.

Must Have Proficiency In:

Total Station (Leica, Topcon, or similar brands)

Auto Level / Dumpy Level

GNSS/GPS Surveying Devices

Laser Leveling Equipment

(e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Carlson)

Basic Measurement Tools

(tape, markers, plumb line)

Preferred to Have (Optional):

Drone surveying basics (for large-area terrain mapping) 3D scanning tools (for advanced projects)

Must Not Rely On:

Outdated manual methods without calibration Inaccurate or non-certified tools that compromise safety or alignment Mobile app-based measurements for site-level decisions

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct land and layout surveys to determine exact project boundaries, elevations, and alignments. Set out reference points and markers on construction sites for tents and tensile structure installations. Work closely with site engineers and project managers to ensure execution matches design specifications. Provide accurate measurements for fabrication and installation activities. Prepare as-built survey reports and maintain daily field records. Validate site elevations, slab levels, and anchoring positions for structural accuracy. Coordinate with consultants and clients for inspection and site validation. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements during surveying operations.
