Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented

Land Surveyor

with specialized expertise in

facade surveying

to join our engineering and construction team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring accurate land measurements and facade assessments for various development projects across the UAE. This position involves both fieldwork and technical reporting, requiring a high degree of precision and knowledge of modern surveying technologies.

Key Responsibilities:Land & Topographic Surveying:

Conduct

boundary, elevation, topographic, and construction surveys

to support land development and infrastructure projects. Utilize modern survey tools including

Total Stations, GPS units, laser scanners, and drones

to collect accurate field data. Analyze survey data and produce

detailed maps, site plans, and technical documentation

. Research land titles, legal records, and historical maps to confirm boundary lines and resolve disputes. Ensure all surveying activities comply with

local laws, zoning regulations, and safety standards

. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to apply survey findings during project execution. Maintain organized

field notes, survey reports, and digital records

.

Facade Surveying & Inspection:

Carry out detailed

facade surveys and inspections

using advanced equipment such as

thermal imaging cameras, drones, and 3D laser scanners

. Assess the condition of facade elements, including

cladding, glass, joints, structural connections, and weatherproofing systems

. Identify structural deficiencies and contribute to reports outlining

repair, retrofit, or maintenance solutions

. Prepare and deliver technical documentation, photographs, and annotated reports for clients and project stakeholders. Ensure facade survey activities are aligned with

UAE building codes

and project specifications.

Team Collaboration & Oversight:

Train and supervise junior surveyors, promoting best practices and safety standards on-site. Coordinate multiple surveying tasks across concurrent projects and meet tight project deadlines. Participate in

post-survey analysis

and resolve discrepancies in design or site execution.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in

Civil Engineering, Building Surveying, Architecture

, or a related discipline. Minimum

5 years of proven experience

, preferably in the

UAE

, with a strong background in both land and facade surveying. In-depth knowledge of

UAE construction regulations

, building materials, and surveying procedures. Proficiency in using

AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, and survey-specific software

. Familiarity with facade systems,

retrofit methods, inspection tools

, and facade performance evaluations. Strong

technical writing

skills with the ability to compile accurate and detailed technical reports. Excellent communication and

problem-solving skills

. Valid

UAE driving license

is mandatory.
