Position Summary:

We are seeking a certified and experienced

Land Survival Specialist

to join our team in the UAE. This role is vital to ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals during emergencies and critical incidents. The ideal candidate will have formal training in survival techniques across various terrains--including desert, mountain, and urban environments--and possess a strong foundation in emergency preparedness and response. A valid UAE driver's license is preferred due to the mobile nature of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Survival Operations:

Lead and implement survival strategies in response to natural disasters, accidents, or emergency situations to safeguard personnel and clients.

Risk Assessment & Contingency Planning:

Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, identify environmental and operational hazards, and develop actionable emergency response plans specific to UAE terrains.

Training & Preparedness:

Facilitate survival and emergency preparedness training for staff and clients to ensure readiness for life-threatening scenarios across various environments.

Emergency Leadership:

Take command during crisis situations, making decisive actions under pressure to lead teams and individuals to safety.

First Aid & Medical Support:

Provide immediate medical assistance and first aid in emergency situations until professional help is available.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure all protocols comply with UAE health and safety regulations and meet the standards required by relevant survival or emergency certification authorities.

Collaboration & Incident Reporting:

Coordinate with local authorities and emergency response teams; prepare detailed reports on incidents, safety evaluations, and procedural improvements.

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in emergency management, public safety, or related field preferred.

Certification:

Valid

UAE Survivor License

or equivalent survival/emergency preparedness certification.

Experience:

Minimum

2-3 years

of experience in survival training, emergency response, or crisis management.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong leadership and decision-making abilities in high-stress situations. Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills. Proficient in

basic and advanced first aid

CPR

, and

emergency medical procedures

. Comfortable operating in

extreme conditions

, including desert heat, mountainous terrain, and coastal environments. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities in unpredictable scenarios.

Preferred Qualifications:

Specialized experience in survival operations within

UAE environments

(desert, mountain, coastal). Familiarity with

local safety regulations

and coordination with UAE emergency services. Prior experience with civil defense, search and rescue, or military/emergency services is advantageous.
