Job Description
Job Purpose
To carry out land and topographic surveying, set out works, and perform daily tasks for infrastructure and pipeline projects.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma/Degree in Surveying. Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a Land Surveyor, with at least 3 years in pipeline/infrastructure projects. Proficiency in survey instruments such as Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, and digital survey software. Establish survey control points and benchmarks as per project requirements. Perform accurate setting out of alignments, levels, and coordinates for excavation, pipe laying, chambers, and associated infrastructure works. Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, specifications, and survey procedures. Ability to work independently and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams. Good communication and reporting skills in English. Help in preparing shop drawings, as-built drawings, survey reports, and related documentation. Liaise with engineers, CAD technicians, and site teams to ensure correct interpretation of survey data.
Key Skills
Competency certificate from AADC/TRANSCO or similar.
