Collecting field data, analyzing it, and performing mathematical calculations to create precise maps, charts, and reports.Reporting & Documentation:
Preparing and presenting reports that detail findings, legal boundaries, and other relevant information to clients and stakeholders.Collaboration:
Working closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and government agencies to ensure projects meet specifications and regulations.Technology Integration:
Utilizing and maintaining various surveying equipment, as well as utilizing modern technologies like drones, virtual reality, and big data for mapping and analysis.Quality Assurance:
Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of survey data and verifying that surveys comply with building safety regulations and legal guidelines.Required Skills
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with surveying instruments (like levels and GPS) and specialized software such as CAD and GIS.Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
