Job Description

Conduct property, topographic, and construction surveys using advanced equipment (Total Station, GPS, laser scanning) Analyze survey data, prepare field notes, sketches, and reports, and interpret maps, plans, and legal documents Collaborate with project teams to ensure survey data meets requirements and deadlines Develop survey plans for complex projects and stay updated on local land surveying regulations Ensure adherence to safety procedures and manage junior surveyors as needed Perform boundary surveys and establish property lines for legal and real estate purposes Coordinate with government agencies and private landowners to obtain necessary permits and access for survey work Utilize GIS software to create and maintain accurate geospatial databases Conduct quality control checks on survey data and final deliverables to ensure accuracy and completeness Provide expert testimony in legal proceedings related to land disputes or boundary issues Mentor and train junior surveyors in field techniques, equipment operation, and data processing Participate in project planning meetings to provide surveying expertise and cost estimates Develop and implement new surveying methodologies to improve efficiency and accuracy Proficiency in operating survey instruments, including Total Station, GPS, and laser scanning equipment

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Minimum of 4 years of experience in land surveying, preferably in the UAE
