Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Land Surveyor

with strong experience in

topographic surveying

and

GPS-based equipment

to support our construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately collecting field data, preparing survey maps, and providing technical support for site planning, layout, and construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct

topographic

,

boundary

,

layout

, and

as-built surveys

using

GPS

,

total stations

, and

other survey instruments

. Collect, analyze, and interpret field data for use in

engineering and construction planning

. Prepare

survey drawings, maps, and reports

using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar software. Work closely with

project managers, engineers, and site supervisors

to ensure accurate placement and layout of infrastructure. Establish and verify

control points

and

benchmarks

on construction sites. Monitor ongoing construction work to ensure it adheres to surveyed layout and design plans. Maintain proper documentation of field data and survey records. Ensure compliance with

local regulations

safety standards

, and

company procedures

. Provide technical guidance to junior surveyors and coordinate with external consultants when needed.

Requirements:

Degree/Diploma in

Land Surveying

,

Geomatics

,

Civil Engineering

, or related field.

3+ years

of experience in land surveying within a construction or civil engineering environment. Proficiency in

topographic surveys

and use of

GPS/GNSS

systems,

total stations

, and

digital levels

. Skilled in survey software such as

AutoCAD

,

Civil 3D

,

Trimble Business Center

, or similar. Familiarity with

construction drawings

,

site layout

, and

earthwork calculations

. Ability to work independently and manage multiple project priorities. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification or license as a

Registered Land Surveyor

(RLS) or equivalent (as per local requirements). Experience with

drone/UAV-based surveys

and photogrammetry. Knowledge of

GIS applications

and

3D modeling
