We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Land Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in our infrastructure and construction projects, ensuring precise measurements and accurate data collection for various surveying activities.
Conduct topographic, control, and setting-out surveys for infrastructure projects, including pipelines, shafts, and associated civil structures
Establish, verify, and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, and reference grids in coordination with project teams
Review and apply approved drawings, alignment data, and coordinate systems in compliance with local regulations and project requirements
Perform precise measurements to determine property boundaries, elevations, and other topographical features
Prepare detailed survey reports, maps, and plans using specialized software
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure accurate implementation of project designs
Verify horizontal and vertical alignments, pipe inverts, and structure locations prior to and during construction
Conduct as-built surveys and verify the accuracy of contractors' as-built drawings
Maintain up-to-date survey records, field books, and digital data files, ensuring full traceability of survey operations
Calibrate and maintain survey instruments in accordance with project quality assurance procedures
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all field operations
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in land surveying, preferably in infrastructure and construction projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GPS, Total Station, and other relevant surveying software
Strong understanding of coordinate systems, datum control, and vertical alignment verification
Experience with deep pipeline, shaft construction, and alignment monitoring
Familiarity with Saudi Arabian land surveying regulations and standards
Knowledge of local utility and infrastructure project standards
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data collection and reporting
Ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency in both Arabic and English
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites
Certification in relevant surveying techniques or instruments (preferred)
