In this Land Freight Intern position

• You will arrange bookings based on customer requirements with various nominated third parties to ensure customer needs are met.
• You will process customer and customs documentation within a required timeframe in accordance with third party and local requirements i.e. customs, trade law, carriers.
• You will co-ordinate movement of cargo within required/stipulated time frames in order to meet customer needs.
• You will prepare specific customer reports whenever required, receive, and accept transport orders from customer, and book shipment with transport on time.
• You will settle customer issues in a timely and amicable manner.
• You will register shipment on internal system on time and arrange customs clearance based on customer documentation.
• You will Follow up PODs (proof of delivery) with transporters.
• You will arrange collection / packing of customer cargo.
• You will supply carrier with transport order/instructions.
• You will send pre-alert to customer/destination offices.
• You will invoice shipment based on estimate or rate agreement.
• You will supply estimate on customer/sales request.

• A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or equivalent experience/qualification
• 1 year working experience in Logistic industry
• Regulation knowledge of road transport
• Good communication skills \xe2\x80\x93 written and spoken
