Labour Officer

Job Description
A Labour Officer enforces labour laws, promotes workplace harmony, investigates disputes, and advises on rights, mediating between employers and employees to ensure compliance with regulations on wages, hours, health, and safety, while also handling policy implementation and record-keeping. They conduct inspections, mediate conflicts, implement labour welfare policies, and ensure legal compliance, requiring strong communication and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities
Enforce Labour Laws
: Conduct workplace inspections to ensure compliance with employment acts, including health, safety, wages, and working hours.Resolve Disputes
: Investigate labour disputes, mediate conflicts between management and workers, and conciliate to reach resolutions.Provide Advice
: Educate employers and employees on their rights, obligations, and relevant labour legislation.Policy Implementation
: Assist in developing and implementing labour welfare policies and programs.Record Keeping
: Maintain accurate records of inspections, investigations, and data related to employment activities.Coordination
: Liaise with other departments and external suppliers/clients.Essential Skills & Qualifications

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
