Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the preparation and testing of samples, maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, and ensure compliance with laboratory protocols and safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and test samples for analysis

- Maintain and operate laboratory equipment, including calibration and troubleshooting

- Conduct routine laboratory tests and procedures

- Record and report test results accurately and efficiently

- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment

- Comply with laboratory safety protocols and procedures

- Assist in the development and implementation of new laboratory procedures

- Collaborate with other laboratory staff to ensure efficient workflow

Requirements:

- Associate's degree or certificate in a life science or related field

- 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory setting

- Knowledge of laboratory procedures and protocols

- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and instrumentation

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field

- Experience with specialized laboratory equipment or techniques

- Certification in a laboratory specialty, such as medical laboratory technology

- Experience with laboratory information systems (LIS) and electronic medical records (EMRs)
