We are seeking an experienced and motivated Civil Lab Manager to oversee the daily operations of our civil materials testing laboratory. The successful candidate will manage lab personnel, ensure testing quality and compliance with standards, maintain equipment, and coordinate with project teams to deliver accurate and timely results.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise day-to-day laboratory operations.

Oversee and train technicians in testing procedures for concrete, asphalt, aggregates, and soils.

Ensure compliance with ASTM, AASHTO, CSA, and other relevant testing standards.

Maintain calibration, maintenance, and quality control of all lab equipment.

Review and approve test reports and ensure data accuracy.

Coordinate with field teams, project engineers, and clients regarding testing requirements and results.

Implement and monitor safety policies and quality assurance procedures.

Manage lab inventory, supplies, and scheduling of testing activities.

Support accreditation and certification processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemistry, Industrial Engineering, Environmental science or related field.

5+ years of experience (2 years in UAE) in an Industrial or commercial laboratory setting.

Proven experience in laboratory management and client engagement / business development.

Strong understanding of laboratory standards and regulatory frameworks.

Excellent communication, leadership and project management skills
