Role Overview

We are seeking a

highly hands-on Label Printer Technician

with strong practical experience in

repairing, installing, integrating, and supporting industrial label printers

.

The ideal candidate must be

technically strong at hardware troubleshooting and repairs

, with proven experience in

Java scripting

and

label design / automation using Bartender and NiceLabel

. This role is suited for someone who can work independently at customer sites and handle both

technical service and application-level support

.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and commission industrial

label printers

at customer locations Diagnose and repair

printer hardware issues

(printhead, platen, sensors, cutters, motors, power units, etc.) Perform preventive maintenance and breakdown servicing Integrate label printers with POS, ERP, kitchen systems, and databases Provide application support for

Bartender

and

NiceLabel

Design, modify, and troubleshoot label templates and workflows Implement

Java scripting

for label logic, automation, and data handling Resolve connectivity and networking issues (USB, LAN, IP-based printers) Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers Train end users on printer operation and basic troubleshooting Maintain service reports, installation records, and documentation

Technical Skills - Mandatory

Strong hands-on experience in

repairing and servicing label printers

Proven experience with label printer brands such as: SATO Zebra Honeywell (or similar industrial brands) Hands-on working knowledge of

Bartender

and

NiceLabel

Practical experience in

Java scripting

(label logic, conditions, automation) Solid understanding of printer integration and installation environments

Additional Technical Knowledge

Basic to intermediate knowledge of

IT infrastructure

, including: Windows OS Networking (IP configuration, LAN connectivity) Driver installation and system compatibility Experience integrating printers with ERP or POS systems is a strong advantage

Experience & Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Electronics, IT, Computer Science, or a related field Minimum

3-6 years

of relevant hands-on experience Prior experience servicing industrial printers in hospitality, QSR, retail, or manufacturing environments preferred UAE driving license preferred
