job Brief

The Lab Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, entering and validating laboratory test data using EP Evaluator software, conducting thorough data analysis, and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
The role supports the laboratory team by identifying discrepancies or unacceptable results and facilitating timely resolution.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Data Entry & Validation:

+ Accurately input laboratory validation and verification data into

EP Evaluator

software.
+ Ensure completeness and correctness of data sourced from instruments, lab worksheets, and validation protocols.

Data Analysis & Review:

+ Analyze data output from EP Evaluator for accuracy and conformity to performance specifications (e.g., precision, linearity, method comparison).
+ Identify statistical or clinical anomalies and flag unacceptable or discrepant results.

Reporting & Communication:

+ Generate validation summary reports and present findings to the Laboratory Team.
+ Revert to the Lab Division for clarification or corrective actions when discrepancies or non-conformities are found.

Documentation & Compliance:

+ Maintain organized and accurate records of data analysis, validation reports, and communication trails.
+ Adhere to local regulatory requirements and internal quality assurance protocols.

REQUIREMENTS

+ Background in a clinical laboratory or diagnostic validation environment Experience with

EP Evaluator

is strongly preferred. + Proficiency in laboratory statistics and data analysis. Proficiency in English Language and communication skills. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytical software tools. Knowledge of medical and laboratory terminology. Ethical Conduct. Interaction, Confidence, & Perseverance. Active learner. Time management and multitasking in high-volume settings. Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team. + Candidate should be based in UAE.
