Aldar Education is currently seeking an outstanding Lab Assistant for Al Majd Charter School in Abu Dhabi, starting from AY24/25 . Seer Baniyas Charter School is dedicated to public school students in Mohammed Bin Zayed City, Abu Dhabi, offering an American-based curriculum for Grades 6 and 7. We serve 641 Emirati boys, with Middle School US Curriculum subjects including English, Maths, Science, Humanities, and MOE subjects. Main Duties:

Provide laboratory support. Assist in preparing all lessons in science, ICT, Art, and LEGO laboratories and classrooms. Be available in laboratories or prep rooms to support teaching staff. Support classroom delivery as required. Manage laboratories, ensuring equipment, tools, chemicals, and materials are well-stocked and maintained. Specific Duties:

Coordinate with academic staff on timetables, equipment needs, and work plans. Conduct trial runs of experiments and demonstrate techniques. Follow health and safety procedures diligently. Use equipment accurately and appropriately. Set up and check equipment and apparatus for lessons, liaising with staff. Retrieve, store, and maintain equipment and materials. Maintain records of maintenance and servicing. Control stock levels and ensure proper storage. Support teachers and students during practical sessions and research projects. Coordinate the use of equipment to optimize resources. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field. Minimum Experience: At least 3 years in a similar role. Experience with US Common Core curriculum is an advantage. #J-18808-Ljbffr
