Job Overview
As an L3 Network Engineer, you will act as a senior escalation point, lead the design and implementation of scalable and secure network infrastructures, and ensure seamless performance across all regional offices. The position requires deep expertise in routing protocols, firewall policies, and network monitoring in dynamic, high-availability environments.
Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated L2/L3 network incidents involving routing, switching, VPNs, and firewalls
• Lead root cause analysis and document technical resolutions to minimize downtime
• Configure and manage enterprise-grade routers, switches, and security devices (SonicWall, Fortinet, Cisco, Aruba)
• Maintain and optimize LAN/WAN/SD-WAN, wireless networks, and MPLS circuits
• Monitor network health using tools like PRTG; perform firmware upgrades and configuration backups
• Implement VPN tunnels, firewall rules, ACLs, and intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS)
• Coordinate global network expansions, migrations, and security compliance checks
• Create and update technical documentation for configuration, monitoring, and incident management
• Generate performance and audit reports; proactively suggest improvements
• Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors across different geographies

Job Requirements
Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Certifications:

• CCNA and CCNP required
• CCIE or equivalent certification is a plus

Technical Skills:

• Deep understanding of networking protocols: TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VLAN, VRF, QoS
• Expert-level skills in managing SonicWall, Cisco, and Fortinet firewalls
• Proficiency in VPN setup, network segmentation, and wireless infrastructure
• Familiarity with SD-WAN architecture and global multi-location deployments
• Working knowledge of PRTG or other NMS tools

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in remote and on-site settings
• Time management and project prioritization skills under pressure
