L3 Network Engineer

Adecco is looking to hire an L3 Network Engineer for our prestigious client based in Abu Dhabi, UAE is primarily responsible for building, deploying, maintaining, and automating our software development pipeline from source control through production. Works closely with operations as a developer, or with development as an operation professional.

Experience Level: 5 to 8 Years

Job Responsibilities:

• Experience managing and troubleshooting Cisco switches/routers, Cisco SDWAN, Cisco wireless LAN, Cisco ISE/NAC environment, PaloAlto, Fortinet Firewalls

• Experience with network monitoring and reporting tools.

• Comprehensive understanding of TCP, IP, Ethernet, Wireless LAN, IPSec VPN, SSL mesh and non-mesh WAN topologies, etc.

• Experience with protocols such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPLS, VRF, SDWAN and other networking protocols. Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus 9K, 7K, 5K, BigIP exp. desirable.

• Understanding of advanced technologies such as encryption, QoS, CoS, policy-based routing, 802.1x, WPA2, 802.11, WAN acceleration, and caching.

• Experience with industry practices in network security and networking technologies with various network equipment vendors as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Palo Alto, SilverPeak etc.

• Experience in networking (e.g., TCP/IP, routing, VPNs, VLANs, peering, load balancing, etc.).

• Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability

• Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning

• Installation and configuration of servers, firewalls UTM and other firewall\'s.

• Troubleshooting network, Firewall, Servers issues.

To qualify, you must have:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science or related field.

• CCNP / CCNA or other technology certifications in related technologies are a plus.

• CCIE in Routing & Switching and Security certification

• 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience supporting network technologies, especially Juniper, Cisco (Nexus and Catalyst), Juniper SRX firewalls, and F5 load balancers. Proficient knowledge in routing protocol (e.g. OSPF, BGP), switching, firewall and load balancer.

• VMware VNIX-NV / VCDX-NV OR equivalent proven knowledge and experience.

• Proven experience in any of the public Cloud would be an added advantage

• Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
