About this opportunity

We are now looking for an MS IT Infrastructure Admin / L2 Operations Engineer. This job role is responsible to provide Level 2 Support for Windows, VM Ware and Nutanix platform and to ensure that the handled services being provided to customers are continuously available and performing to Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance levels.

What you will do

• Manage tickets , incidents and technical requests related to said platforms (VMWare and Nutanix) and regularly update on the progress.
• Maintain the stability and performance of the said platform.
• Work on the tickets assigned by the senior team member and ensure that tickets are closed as per the SLA defined.
• Provide Daily/Weekly/Monthly updates on the SLA tracking and provide measures on mitigating any SLA non-compliance.
• Document the day-to-day events for tracking and review, process documentation.
• Perform RCA for Major Incidents related to his / her tower Follow the quality / security processes defined.
• Prepare a report for audit purposes.
• Manage and follow the compliance process laid down by the company from time to time.
• Participation in projects activities related to planning & expansion of said platform.
• Provide an effective 360-degree feedback on the ailing elements in the current solution and co-ordinate with Internal Planning and External platform vendors to fix them.
• Need to get self-trained on the company\'s laid down data integrity process/other security processes from time to time.

You will bring

• Engineering Graduate in Computer Science or similar with 8+ years of experience with 4+ in IT System Administration.
• Formal Certifications in MCSA, MCSE, MCITP, VMware, Nutanix, Multicloud Infrastructure (NCP-MCI) will be preferred.
• Deep knowledge and hands on experience on Windows 2003/2008/2012/2016/2019 OS for installation and management.
• Strong understanding of Hardware, capacity planning, and RAID concepts.
• Worked on the Physical and Virtual server infrastructure.
• Good knowledge about server hardware and server hosting.
• Able to perform Firmware and BIOS upgrades of Physical Servers.
• Able to handle Windows OS upgradation activities.
• Expertise and hands on experience on Windows Server troubleshooting.
• Check & Deploy Patches and Hotfixes on monthly basis, which is released by Microsoft.
• Provide support for DC and other Locations devices such as Servers hardware, OS & File servers.
• Windows OS Vulnerability assessment management and closure according to recommendations.
• Has in-depth knowledge of Administration of VMWARE ESXI 5/6/7 environments.
• Has worked on Installation/Creation of VMWARE Clusters/Standalone nodes.
• Has worked on migration/upgradation activities of VMware ESXI.
• Ability to handle various virtual platforms like vSphere, Oracle VM.
• In-depth knowledge and experience on VMware ESXi (5.5, 6.5, and 7.0) hypervisors administration
• Handling Vcenter for multiple Datacenters.
• Good hands on Nutanix cluster and Administration skills
• In-depth troubleshooting skills in Vcenter, ESX and ESXi hosts and networking.
• Has worked on Hyper V setup and has knowledge on Hyper V Administration/Management.
• Strong understanding of different IaaS, PaaS services and platform and their associated limitations.
• Good knowledge on Cloud networking like, Network, firewall, cloud routers, WAF, and load balancers.
• Knowledge on backup and restoration
• In-depth knowledge on Cloud Virtual Desktop.
• Excellent English language skills, spoken and written.
• Strong written and presentation development skills.
• Ability to gain support and consensus for initiatives.
