Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced KYC Consultant to join our growing Compliance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the Bank's compliance with all relevant KYC/AML regulations and internal policies. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a deep understanding of Islamic finance.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough customer due diligence (CDD) reviews, including enhanced due diligence (EDD) for high-risk customers.
Analyze customer information, including financial transactions, to identify potential money laundering and terrorist financing risks.
Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date customer risk assessments.
Monitor and escalate suspicious activity reports (SARs) to relevant authorities.
Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including business units, legal, and regulatory bodies.
Advise business units on KYC/AML requirements and best practices.
Stay abreast of all relevant regulatory changes and industry best practices.
Contribute to the development and implementation of KYC/AML policies and procedures.
Participate in internal and external audits and examinations.
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in KYC/AML compliance within the financial services industry.
Fluency in Arabic (written and spoken) is mandatory.
Strong understanding of Islamic finance principles and regulations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in MS Office Suite.
