In this role you will plan, monitor, and manage projects from initiation through completion, to accomplish the project objectives.
Your tasks
Responsible for optimisation of processing equipment (R&D),
Securing required resources and using formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks, and changes
Ensuring sub-contractors assemble plants according to design specifications
Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations
Strategic planning in cooperation with project team (Krones AG - PM, Technical department, etc.)
Selection of suppliers
Purchasing components (single parts), units, machines, and services in the national, regional, and global markets
Liaising with the finance department to process payments to suppliers
Coordinating with internal and external project shareholders - client, design, plant engineering, fabrication, electrical and instrumentation & automation, QC, etc.
Detailed estimating of BOM, freezing the requirement, indenting of material, discussion, and negotiating with coordination of purchase department, following up for material procurement
Mobilizing the site, coordinating with the site team, and guiding the execution team
Initiating, planning, and implementing cost-saving projects
Providing support on the following tasks: a)
Mass Balance, Process Time Schedule, utility histograms to optimize the capacity of process and utility equipment, sizing of process & utility pipes b) Preparation of basic process description, technical specification, process flow diagram, instrumentation drawing, equipment layout drawing for the techno-commercial offer, and deviation list c)
Post Order - Process and Instrumentation diagram for process, CIP & utility distribution for detailed engineering
Being responsible for project planning: from project schedule to resource requirements
Preparing of process description for food and beverage process plants Allocating and providing direction and support to the team
Responsible for delivery of the projects on time, within their scope, and within budget
Dealing with complaints, notifications of defects, claim management Detailed engineering i.e., preparing of P&ID, equipment layouts, designing and review of GA drawing, PFDs, piping and support drawings, cable tray distribution, etc.
Monitoring and controlling the site activities like erection, installation, piping, and integration of different equipment, water trail & testing, commissioning, product trial, commercial production by frequent site visits
Tracking the project progress and on financial aspects of the project i.e., invoicing of project, project fund flow, cash recovery against invoices, EPCG documentation preparation, and record.
Full cost control over local purchasing activities in a project and support of project controlling
Your profile
Degree in engineering, project management or equivalent; PMP certification preferred
Proven working experience of 5 to 7 years in Project Management and Engineering
Excellent client-facing and verbal communication skills
Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent time management, communication, and negotiation skills
* Skilled AutoCAD knowledge to prepare P&IDs and Layouts
