About the role

Responsible for providing excellent Kitesurf and watersport services at Fuwairit beach by conducting Kitesurf activities to customers and DQ clients, ensuring safety procedures are applied.


As part of your role, your responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:

Accountabilities:

Operational

Understand, attend to and guide guests on available Kitesurf activity while offering an excellent standard of customer service. Accountable for administering training to the Beach staff on their responsibilities and ensuring they adhere to the established standards. Liaise with Head Instructor to ensure the delivery of fun, engaging, safe and informative Kitesurf programmes throughout the season. Coordinate with reservation officers to plan and schedule Kitesurf and non-wind activity sessions. Ensure the presentation of the Kitesurf centre is kept tidy and to a standard that guests would expect. Conduct Kitesurfing lessons for both external (guests) and internal (beach support staff). Conduct Kite specialist clinics when required (freestyle, hydro foil, surf board, kids clinics). Facilitate regular equipment checks to be aligned with municipality environmental checks and urban planning policies. Support Head instructor in the organisation of Kite Surf events. Supervise and direct Kitesurf support staff activities. Guide clients on & off water excursions including down winders, SUP tours, Kitesurf safaris and mountain bike tours. Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department

Qualifications

About you

Bachelor's degree or equivalent with minimum of 4 years of job-related experience. Excellent in written and verbal communication skills. Maintain confidentiality and self-discipline IK0 level 2 or BKSA level 2 coaching qualification. Coaching experience. Ability to coach all disciplines including freestyle, directional board riding, wing foil and foiling. Ability to coach Fight board foiling. Power boat experience. Valid First Aid qualification
