InterContinental Dubai Marina is a Five Star luxury hotel in the heart of Dubai Marina with 328 rooms and residence suites, flexible event space and restaurants & bars. With over 30 languages and countries represented by the staff, the hotel weaves together an international five star presence. Key responsibilities:
- Assisting the kitchen staff in maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and all storage areas; specifically for cleaning all equipment, utensils, and the physical work area
- Ensuring high standard of cleanliness, sanitation and orderliness in all kitchens and utility work areas is maintained
- Heavy duty cleaning of ovens, grills, sinks, walls, floors, walk-in refrigerators and freezers and other heavy kitchen equipment
- Operating the dishwashing equipment to ensure that all culinary items are cleaned thoroughly and sanitation is maintained
- Perform all Stewarding tasks as per given instructions
- Responsible to ensure minimum wastage, breakage and spoilage
- Previous Steward Experience
- Good communication skills
- Team work
- Ability to work in a rotating shift and dynamic environment
- Knowledge of all chemicals used.
