An opportunity has arisen for a Steward to join the Culinary department in Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa Kuwait.

Your key responsibilities will include: To safely handle chemicals and keep them stored properly. To load and unload dishware and flatware from the dishwashing machine and store them properly. To ensure a clean, neat and organized work area. To handle and report any accident immediately. To safely set up, clean and utilize the silver burnishing machine. To safely utilize all cleaning compounds, chemicals and materials. To follow a daily and weekly schedule of polishing all silver items in the hotel. To clean, polish, sort and transport required silver. To place damaged or excessively worn pieces in designated area for repair. To store and maintain silver properly. To ensure all needed supplies are on hand. To notify the Supervisor of any shortages as soon as realized. To handle items at the last minute, which need to be polished. To maintain all pots, pans and equipment to be cleaned. To keep the ware washing area clean, neat and well maintained. To complete all tasks using the utmost concern for all colleagues' safety. To collect, utilize safely and put away all cleaning materials, chemicals and equipment. To clean, dust, sweep, mop, polish, scrub, wash, strip, and buff all relevant areas in the hotel. About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

Should have minimum 2 years' experience in a similar position in a five-star hotel.
