Kitchen & Laundry Technician
Job Summary:
The Kitchen & Laundry Technician specializes in maintaining and repairing all equipment within the hotel's kitchens and laundry facilities. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of food production and linen services.
Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, maintain, and repair kitchen equipment (e.g., ovens, stoves, grills, dishwashers, mixers) and laundry equipment (e.g., washers, dryers, ironers).
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
Quickly troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
Coordinate with the culinary and housekeeping departments to schedule repairs with minimal disruption.
Source and manage spare parts inventory for critical equipment.
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

Technical diploma in appliance repair, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience maintaining commercial kitchen and laundry equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of electrical systems.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
