Sweeps and mops the floors;
Washes worktables, walls, freezer, and meat blocks;
Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers;
Steam-cleans or hoses out garbage;
Washes pots, pans, and trays by hand;
Scrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or to dishwashing machine;
Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or use of trolleys;
Washes and peels vegetables, using knife or peeling machine;
Assists dispatcher in loading or unloading food deliver van in picking up or delivering food supplies;
Ensure the kitchen is clean, well maintained and organized at all times;
Always ensure floors and walls in the kitchen are dry and clean;
Consistently adheres to Safety Data Sheet information related to the proper and safe use of chemicals in the workplace;
Check all chemical levels and inventory;
Clean, sanitize and close workstations;
Report any maintenance or hazard issues to the Technical in charge;
Assist light food preparation as directed by Chef; and
Performs other relevant tasks when necessary
