Sweeps and mops the floor
Washes worktables, walls, freezer, and meat blocks.
Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers.
Steam-cleans or hoses out garbage.
Washes pots, pans, and trays by hand.
Scrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or to dishwashing machine.
Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or use of trolleys.
Washes and peels vegetables, using knife or peeling machine.
Assist dispatchers in loading or unloading food delivery vans in picking up or delivering food supplies.
Ensure the kitchen is clean, well maintained and always organized.
Always ensure floors and walls in the kitchen are dry and clean.
Consistently adheres to Safety Data Sheet information related to the proper and safe use of chemicals in the workplace.
Check all chemical levels and inventory.
Clean, sanitized and close workstations.
Report any maintenance or hazard issues to the Technical in charge.
Assist light food preparation as directed by Chef; and
Perform other relevant tasks when necessary
