Job Summary: Looking for a Kitchen Helper in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (UAE)
Job Key Details:
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to prepare ingredients including chopping, slicing as well as peeling vegetables, portioning meats and measuring ingredients accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the kitchen by washing, sanitizing as well as organizing kitchen utensils, equipment and workstations
- Make sure all surfaces are clean and sanitized according to set standards
- Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, utensils, pots and pans promptly
- Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain hygiene and prevent contamination
- Receive and inspect deliveries, ensuring the quality and freshness of ingredients
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation standards, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Work closely with the kitchen staff, maintaining effective communication to ensure a smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks
- The suitable candidate must have at least 1 to 2 years of experience working as a helper in the kitchen
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment required
- Must have a good understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong communication and teamwork skills required
