Assist in the preparation of pastry and dessert items as per recipes and chef instructions.
Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients accurately.
Support in baking cakes, cookies, tarts, croissants, and other pastry items.
Prepare fillings, creams, syrups, and decorations as needed.
Ensure proper storage and labeling of all ingredients and finished products.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry section at all times.
Assist in receiving and checking pastry ingredients and supplies.
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.
Report any equipment malfunction or shortage of materials to the Pastry Chef.
Support in plating and presentation during service hours.
Assist in daily mise en place and end-of-shift cleaning duties.
