Key Responsibilities:
Assist in basic food preparation and portioning.
Support cooks and service staff during busy meal periods.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and service areas at all times.
Wash and sanitize utensils, equipment, and work surfaces.
Assist with setting up and packing up before and after meal service.
Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
Ensure proper waste disposal and storage of food items.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
Perform any other duties assigned by the kitchen supervisor or chef.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a kitchen or canteen environment is an advantage.
Strong understanding of hygiene and food safety practices.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Punctual, reliable, and well-presented.
