Kitchen Assistant / Kitchen Helper
2. Position Summary
The Kitchen Assistant is responsible for supporting chefs in all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cleaning, ingredient storage, and maintaining hygiene standards. This position ensures the kitchen runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely in compliance with health and safety regulations.
3. Key Responsibilities
Assist chefs with washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients.
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
Keep food preparation areas tidy, organized, and ready for use.
Assist in plating dishes, delivering food to the pass, and packing takeaway orders.
Organize and label food items in refrigerators, freezers, and dry storage areas.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
Dispose of kitchen waste properly and maintain clean floors and drains.
Support the kitchen team during busy service hours.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.
4. Job Requirements
Minimum of junior high school education or equivalent.
Physically healthy, with no communicable diseases.
Previous experience in a kitchen or cleaning role is preferred.
Hardworking, punctual, and able to handle a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.
Good teamwork skills and willingness to follow instructions.
5. Working Hours and Reporting Line
Working Hours: Approximately 10-12 hours per day, including meal and rest breaks.
Reports To: Head Chef / Kitchen Supervisor.
6. Salary and Benefits
Salary: Negotiable based on experience and performance.
Benefits: Free staff meals, accommodation, and delivery.

Pay: QAR1,600.00 - QAR3,000.00 per month
