Male Kitchen Helper

Head Chef / Kitchen Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including workstations, utensils, equipment, and storage areas. Wash dishes, cookware, and kitchen tools, ensuring they are properly cleaned and stored. Receive and organize kitchen supplies, ingredients, and deliveries according to food safety standards. Support the cooking staff during meal preparation and service hours. Dispose of waste and maintain proper cleanliness of garbage areas. Monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor of shortages or maintenance needs. Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations as per company policy. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.

Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Prior experience in a kitchen, restaurant, or food service environment is an advantage. Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights. Positive attitude and willingness to learn and follow instructions.

Working Conditions:

Dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment. May require flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays. Standing and manual handling for extended periods.
