Key Responsibilities:
Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation
Wash, peel, and chop vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients
Clean and sanitize kitchen tools, equipment, and surfaces
Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and notify supervisors of shortages
Dispose of trash and manage waste properly
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
Help in organizing and maintaining the kitchen area
Assist with packaging and organizing take-out orders (if applicable)
Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen manager or supervisor
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is a plus, but not required
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Good communication skills
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
