Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Kitchen Cleaner / Helper to maintain cleanliness, support kitchen operations, and assist chefs with basic tasks. This role is ideal for freshers who are eager to learn and grow into future kitchen positions such as Kitchen Assistant, Commis or Cook.

Key Responsibilities

Wash and sanitize all pots, pans, trays, utensils and kitchen equipment, either manually or using dishwashing machines. Keep washing areas, sinks and surrounding stations clean, dry and well organized at all times. Sweep, mop and clean kitchen floors and walls; remove spills immediately to maintain safety. Clean worktables, shelves, trolleys, racks and exterior surfaces of ovens and equipment as per schedule. Segregate, bag and dispose of garbage correctly; clean and sanitize bins regularly. Assist chefs by fetching ingredients, carrying trays, washing/peeling vegetables and performing simple prep tasks as needed. Restock stations with clean utensils, trays, plates and basic supplies. Use cleaning chemicals safely and follow all hygiene, sanitation and kitchen safety rules. Support smooth kitchen operations by keeping the back area tidy and responding quickly to chefs' requests, especially during busy hours.
Requirements

No prior experience required; 0-2 years in kitchen, stewarding or cleaning roles is an advantage. Physically fit and able to stand for long hours, carry heavy items and work in a hot, fast-paced environment. Basic understanding of cleanliness, hygiene practices and safe usage of equipment/cleaning chemicals (training provided). Reliable, punctual, willing to follow instructions and able to work well in a team. Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as required. Basic English communication; additional languages are an advantage.
Growth Opportunity
