We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Kitchen and Laundry Technician to join our team in Rixos Al Mairid at Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our kitchen and laundry facilities, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to hygiene standards.

Operate, clean, and maintain kitchen and laundry equipment, including dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, and cooking appliances Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing tasks in kitchen and laundry areas, following established procedures and schedules Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to the appropriate supervisor Assist in the proper storage and organization of kitchen utensils, linens, and other supplies Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs Collaborate with kitchen and housekeeping staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and guidelines Assist in training new team members on equipment operation and cleaning procedures Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, equipment maintenance, and inventory


Qualifications

Proficiency in operating various kitchen and laundry equipment Strong knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing procedures Basic maintenance and troubleshooting skills for kitchen and laundry equipment Excellent time management and multitasking abilities Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards Physical stamina to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Good communication and teamwork skills Food safety certification preferred Previous experience in kitchen or laundry operations, particularly in a hospitality or healthcare setting, is a plus Familiarity with UAE health and safety regulations is beneficial
