Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, developmentally appropriate instruction to Kindergarten students
• Foster a creative, safe, and inclusive classroom environment focused on early literacy and foundational learning
• Plan lessons aligned with curriculum goals and differentiated to support varied learning needs
• Use formative assessments to monitor progress and inform instruction
• Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and support staff to enhance student outcomes
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and developmental milestones
• Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development
• Integrate educational technologies to enrich student learning
• Promote cultural understanding and social-emotional development among young learners

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Education with a focus on Early Years or equivalent
• A recognized teaching qualification (B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent) specializing in Kindergarten or Early Childhood Education
• Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching in Lower School or Early Years, preferably within an American or IB PYP curriculum
• Strong understanding of early literacy development and play-based learning methods
• Passion for working in a diverse, inclusive educational setting
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and parent-engagement skills
• Commitment to continuous professional growth and innovation in teaching
