Supervise and motivate kitchen staff, provide training, and coordinate with them to ensure smooth workflow and high productivity.
Kitchen management:
Oversee daily kitchen operations, including managing staff shifts, ensuring compliance with all policies and standards, and maintaining a clean and sanitary environment.
Food preparation and quality control:
Ensure the preparation of dishes meets quality, presentation, and taste standards. Monitor food quality, portions, and inventory, and enforce hygiene standards.
Operational support:
Assist the Head Chef with menu planning and development, inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships.
Leadership:
Lead the kitchen team in the Head Chef's absence to ensure seamless service and handle any kitchen issues that arise.
