Job Summary:


We are seeking a skilled and motivated

Junior Sous Chef - Butchery Section

to join our culinary team at

The Address Montgomerie

. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in

Arabic cuisine

and extensive experience in meat preparation, portioning, and quality control. This role requires maintaining the highest standards of food safety, presentation, and consistency while supporting the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.

The Junior Sous Chef will oversee butchery activities, ensure accurate inventory management, and assist in menu development, ensuring all dishes meet brand and guest expectations.

Requirements:



Proven experience as a

Junior Sous Chef

or

Chef de Partie

in the

butchery section

within a 5-star hotel or fine dining restaurant. Strong knowledge of

Arabic cuisine

, meat cuts, portion control, and preparation techniques. Excellent understanding of

food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards

. Ability to supervise and train junior team members effectively. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Creativity and attention to detail in maintaining presentation and quality standards. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Currently based in the UAE

with relevant work experience in the region.
