Job Description

I am currently seeking a highly motivated Junior Sales Manager / Sales Executive to join our clients growing team within the Food FMCG sector of their multinational, publicly-traded corporation. In this role, you will be responsible for selling their range of A-brand confectioneries, beers, and waters to clients in the Asia and/or MENA regions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FMCG B2B international sales, with a focus on developing new business, acquiring new clients, and managing their accounts. *** Important to note, that candidates must have experience overseeing and managing the entire sale lifecycle of either imported and/or exported goods OR have a very strong technical understanding on Supply Chain processes within an FMCG domain ***

Key Responsibilities
  • Present to existing and potential customers in the Asia and/or MENA regions as a one-stop shop with a strong assortment of A-brand products.
  • Actively sell the company\xe2\x80\x99s current assortment of confectioneries, beers and waters from the company\xe2\x80\x99s warehouse through consolidated containers to existing and new customers in the Asia and/or MENA regions.
  • Identify, acquire, and establish relationships with new clients in an extremely competitive market, while maintaining and growing existing accounts.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and prospecting to negotiation, closing deals, and post-sales support.
  • Meet and crush sales targets, ensuring consistent growth in revenue and profitability.
  • Monitor and be immersed in market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, to ensure seamless sales operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Understand the company\xe2\x80\x99s assortment inside-out and tailor each offer to your clients\xe2\x80\x99 specific needs.
  • Identify solutions to common stock problems such as short remaining shelf life or overstocking \xe2\x80\x93 finding alternatives to mitigate these issues.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with potential clients and maintain a strong understanding of the FMCG landscape.
Key Deliverables
  • Consistent achievement or exceeding of sales targets and revenue growth in the Asia and/or MENA regions.
  • Expansion of the company\'s market presence and customer base through the acquisition of new clients and the retention and growth of existing accounts.
  • Timely and accurate sales reports and forecasts, allowing for data-driven decision-making and strategy adjustments.
  • Development and maintenance of strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Identification and capitalization on emerging market trends and opportunities for growth within the FMCG sector.
  • Assume full responsibility for assigned tasks, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership and commitment to the company\'s success by proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and actively contributing to the achievement of organizational objectives.
Requirements for the role
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2+ years\' experience in B2B sales, with a proven track record of success in the FMCG sector, specifically in confectioneries, beers, and waters.
  • Previous experience in developing new business internationally, on both product-level and market-level.
  • Strong understanding of the Asia and/or MENA markets, with existing relationships and networks in the region.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in relevant CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned regions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional language skills relevant to the target markets are a plus.
