We are looking for a dedicated and proactive

Junior QA/QC Engineer

to join our landscaping construction team in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in quality assurance and quality control within the landscaping and civil works sector. You will play a vital role in ensuring that all our landscaping projects adhere to the highest standards of quality, specifications, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and implementation of Quality Control plans and procedures specific to landscaping and civil construction works. Conduct regular site inspections of landscaping elements (e.g., hardscaping, irrigation, planting, earthworks) to ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, and industry standards. Perform quality checks on incoming materials (e.g., plants, pavers, soil, irrigation components) to ensure they meet specified requirements. Identify and document non-conformities, defects, and deviations, and support the team in proposing corrective and preventive actions. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports, including inspection results, test data, and quality performance metrics. Collaborate closely with project managers, site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to address and resolve quality-related issues promptly. Ensure all quality documentation, such as inspection records, test reports, and material approvals, is accurately maintained and readily available for review. Support the implementation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures on-site. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in quality across all projects.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, Horticulture, or a related technical field.

A minimum of 2-3 years of proven working experience specifically in Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) roles within the landscaping construction industry.

Solid understanding of landscaping construction processes, materials, and relevant quality standards. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and landscaping designs. Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a site team. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Salary:

Negotiable based on experience and qualifications during the interview process.
