We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented

Junior P&I Claims Executive

to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in shipping operations or marine insurance and a keen interest in handling Protection & Indemnity (P&I) claims.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the handling of P&I claims including cargo, crew, collision, pollution, and other third-party liabilities Liaise with P&I Clubs, shipowners, charterers, correspondents, surveyors, and legal service providers Review and assess documentation related to claims, and provide timely updates to clients and concerned parties Monitor claim developments and maintain accurate claim files Support senior claims executives and contribute to case strategy discussions Participate in loss prevention initiatives and member education where required Having knowledge of Port regulations and byelaws of the GCC

Requirements:

3-5 years of relevant experience in the shipping industry, marine insurance, or claims handling Strong understanding of shipping operations and maritime claims Excellent written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently under pressure Team player with good interpersonal skills Work after office hours and on weekends

Preferred:

Familiarity with P&I Club procedures and international maritime conventions Prior experience in a P&I Correspondent office, shipping company, or maritime law firm Legal qualification is

not required

, but an understanding of maritime law is a plus
