Job Description

Responsibilities



Design and develop fire protection, firefighting, and fire alarm systems. Perform hydraulic calculations and prepare system layouts. Prepare technical submittals, respond to client and authority comments, and produce design calculations to ensure compliance with project requirements. Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes and standards, including NFPA, UAE Fire Code, and other local regulations. Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of fire protection and fire alarm systems. Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth and successful project execution. Conduct site inspections and promptly resolve technical issues. Participate in project meetings and provide regular progress updates. Prepare reports and documentation related to site activities.

Requirements



Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. 3-5 years of site experience in firefighting and system design. Good understanding of P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams). Strong knowledge of local Civil Defense requirements and international standards, including UAE Fire Code, NFPA, IPC, etc. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in professional English.
